On this course you'll learn how to convert the book created by Guada Pinos in the "Paint a Magical Book" course, into 3D. We'll add some magic of our own, by turning this 2D design into a 3D object in Maya and ZBrush!

About this course

On this course, we'll learn how to create a 3D book starting with a previous concept, in this case, a design. We'll go through the various phases, from the basic shapes to the detailing of the object in ZBrush. 

What project are we going to develop? 

We'll be creating a magical book using a previous design, using its views so we can fit it in properly to our 3D software. 

We''l learn

  • How to get the different views in our 3D program
  • How to create the basic shapes of each piece of our prop
  • How to export those elements to ZBrush
  • How to finish adding the detail in ZBrush

Who's this course for?

This course is aimed at anyone who has basic 3D knowledge. It isn't for complete beginners, as well be using basic tools that won't be explained on this course. If you're new to 3D or you need a refresher, you could check out our "ZBrush from scratch" course before enrolling on this one.
