3D Modeling: Create an Abstract Setting

3D Modeling: Create an Abstract Setting

Is building your thing? Have you ever dreamt of becoming a real architect? Then, this course is for you! Join us and you’ll get the chance to construct your own 3D city from scratch. The only limit here is your imagination. Are you in?

About this course

We're used to seeing realistic modeling on Cinema 4D, or at least models that try to be as realistic as possible. But, what about those good abstract 3D graphics that make no sense but look wonderful? On this course, you're going to learn how to create a cool abstract scenery by making use of the most basic shapes and using A LOT of splines. First, we'll be creating every specific element of the scenery throughtout different lessons since they need to be done in different ways.  Later, we'll be working with the lights, using Octane Renderer and, finally, the materials, one of the most important parts of any 3D work. The final result will be an amazing abstract 3D scenery.

What project are we going to delevop?

We're going to create a 3D abstract scenery using splines and basic shapes. We'll learn how to use Cinema 4Ds splines, how to adjust their settings, how to turn them into 3D objects and how to convert them using Spline Wraps. We'll also learn a few tips to ease the work a little, like using cloners. Once we're done creating the 3D model, we'll make use of the amazing Octane Renderer to create the lights and the materials in a very realistic way.

Who is this course for?

This course is for everyone, as the explanation is very thorough. However, if you already know your way around Cinema 4D’s interface, that would be a huge help.
