About this course
The course will be divided into several lessons, showing you how to create an icon, and then how to animate it, so you can easily follow along, as well as practice and learn the concepts.
What project are we going to develop?
On this course, we'll create a set of line icons in Adobe Illustrator. I'll be creating a set based on art supplies but you can pick your own topic and easily translate the concepts behind each lesson to create your own set. We'll then go into Adobe After Effects and animate them with simple techniques.
Practice each concept as you go along so you can understand the steps I follow, as well as all the helpful tips and tricks that will be shown.
Who's this course for? Requirements
For this course, it is recommended that you have a foundation knowledge of After Effects so you can make the most out of it. All the concepts are explained several times so even if you are new to the software, you can also learn all the techniques.
We'll be using Adobe Illustrator and After Effects CC but if you have a previous version there shouldn't be any problems; while the layout may be different, the changes shouldn't impact the concepts behind each lesson. And even if there is a difference I'll show you how you can use alternative methods to get the same result.
