Animation: Design an Animated Pattern

Dive in this new Tutpad course and animate your summer! Learn to create adorable designs that we’re going use afterward to create an animated pattern in After Effects. So, are you in?

About this course

Have you ever wondered how to use a single graphic to create a repeatable animation? Well, on this course you will learn how to design simple icons and then bring them to life in After Effects to create an amazing animation in no time.

I will show you how to get an animation by creating copies to make it look like a pattern. We will use simple shapes as a basis that can be modified and animated in thousands of different ways.

The course is divided into lessons with which you will learn how to create the illustrations and then the animation of each icon. This way, you can easily follow along.

What project are we going to develop?

We will create a pattern design about the summer, but the idea is that you understand how to create concepts with the help of simple tools, so you can apply them to the theme you want.

Who is this course for? Requirements

No specific prerequisites are required. We'll explain everything step by step so you don't have any problems. The tools we will use are very basic, so don't worry if you are not an expert.

We'll use Adobe Illustrator and Adobe After Effects CC, but if you have an older version, there should be no major problems. The interface may change, but these changes will not affect the concepts in each lesson.
