Animation: Simulate 3D Fluids

Simulating fluids is one of the most difficult areas of 3D design, so what about including this skill in your possibilities as a designer? Learn to take your first steps with the RealFlow plugin and leave everyone speechless. Shall we start?

About the course

In this course, we’ll be learning to simulate fluids and liquids with the RealFlow plugin in Cinema 4D. RealFlow is a fluid simulation software very popular in the 3D industry and quite effective at simulating all liquids and bodies interactions.

Throughout the different lessons, you’ll learn the basics of liquid and fluid simulation in order to apply them to your own projects. Also, we’ll do some exercises to practice with RealFlow.

Which project are we going to develop?

We're going to learn the basic notions of fluid simulation with RealFlow and work with basic tools such as Emitters, Daemons, Fluid’s quality...Also, we’ll be exploring diverse parameters to generate fluids of different characteristics.

At the end of the course, we’ll be doing three easy exercises. In the first exercise, we’re going to simulate a liquid running down the stairs, in the second one, a viscous liquid falling on an ice cream and, in the third one, we’re going to generate an abstract scene.

If you’re a designer or 3D artist, this course on RealFlow will provide you with a sound knowledge that will help you to make the most of this software.

What you'll learn:
