Graphic Design: Create a Bunch of Weather Icons

Graphic Design: Create a Bunch of Weather Icons

Rainy day? Then why not play at being the weather presenter with these fun weather icons? Let's see if you're more precise than the weather forecast!

About this course

Do you sometimes wonder how all those different styles of icons are made, using the same software and the same tools? Well, on this course, you'll learn how to create a set of icons that reflects a particular concept.

Then, we'll show you how to apply various styles to the icons to give each one a different personality. The course will be divided into sections so you understand how each style is created and, most importantly, you'll learn how to apply these techniques to your own personal projects.

What project are we going to develop?

On this course, we'll be creating a set of weather icons as an example; but the idea is that you understand the concept of how basic shapes can create more complex ones, with the help of simple tools. And how you can apply these styles to any set of icons you create.

Repeat what you've learned on your own so you really get to grips with the concepts behind each lesson.

Who’s this course for? Requirements

You don't need to have any advanced skills to take this course, the concepts will be explained easily so you can follow along and the tools that we'll be using are pretty basic so anyone can enroll.

We'll be using Illustrator CC but if you use a previous version there shouldn't be any major problems. While the layout may be different, the changes shouldn't impact the concepts behind each lesson.
