About this course

Have you ever wanted to create an illustration for a children's book in Adobe Photoshop? On this course, we'll show you how to do that using very simple but effective techniques.

The course will be divided into several lessons, for each part of the process, making it easy for you to follow along, as well as practice and learn the concepts taught.

What project are we going to develop?

On this course, we'll create an illustration for a children's book in Adobe Photoshop. We'll be creating an illustration based on a very popular children's tale "Little Red Riding Hood", but of course, you can choose your own favorite fairytale and follow the same process.

Practice each concept as you follow along so you can understand the procedure, as well as all the helpful tips and tricks that will be shown.

Who's this course for? Requirements

For this course, it's recommended that you have a foundation in Photoshop so you can make the most of it. Although, all the concepts are explained several times so even if you are new to the software, you won't find it too difficult.

We'll be using Adobe Photoshop CC but if you use a previous version there shouldn't be any problems; while the layout may be different, the tools we're going to use are the same. However, the ability to download the brushes used in this course is an exclusive feature of the CC version, but don't worry, you can still follow the course and use simpler brushes.
