Have you ever wondered how you can illustrate a book cover for kids? On this course, I'll teach you how to use Illustrator's basic shapes to create appealing characters. Then we'll be using simple tricks to make your work more efficient and present your final result as a 3D version.
The course will be divided into several lessons, each showing how to create a specific part of the illustration so you can easily follow along.
What project are we going to develop?
On this course we'll create a book cover for kids, it will be inspired by a children's tale. While I will be creating as an example, the three little pigs' tale cover, you can pick your own and all the concepts seen here can be applied to whichever fairytale you like.
Practice each concept as you follow along so you can understand the steps I follow, as well as all the helpful tips and tricks that will be shown.
Who's this course for? Requirements
For this course you don't need any previous skills, the concepts are explained easily so you can follow along, whether you are new to the software or an expert. All concepts are explained as simple as possible, even multiple times so you should have no trouble doing it on your own.
We will be using Adobe Illustrators CC but if you use a previous version there shouldn't be any problems; while the layout may be different, the changes shouldn't impact the concepts behind each lesson. And even if there is a difference I will show you how you can use alternative methods to get the same result.
