About this course

Making great looking illustrations is sometimes easier than you think!

On this course, we’re going to use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to create two restaurants using very simple, geometric shapes. Then we’ll give our drawings a grey base color, that we can use in Photoshop to color in our design, by adjusting the Hue and Saturation.

What project are we going to develop?

We’re going to create two buildings, a pizza restaurant and a donut shop. The great thing about this course is that we’re only going to use very simple shapes like a square, a circle or a triangle. When our drawings are completed in Illustrator, we’ll move over to Photoshop where I’ll show you a very quick and easy way to color in our illustration.

When you finish the course, don’t forget to practice what you’ve learnt. You’ll soon see your skills improve and your work process become quicker.

Who is this course for? Requirements

You don’t need to be an expert illustrator to take this course. You can also use a different design to the one that we do, but if you do want to use ours, you can download it in the Attachment section.

We’ll be using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop CC. If you have an earlier version, there might be a few differences in the layout, but you shouldn’t have a problem in following this course.

This course is also designed to use only a mouse and a keyboard. So a Tablet isn’t necessary.
