About this course

On this course we'll learn about the fundamentals of prop design and design the a prop for Snow White Universe. I want to focus on showing you the step by step process and technique for creating a house from a concept sketch to a cleaned up 3/4 perspective drawing.

Learn about how to pick images to use as references and find inspiration from real life houses and apply them to your own designs. Learn how to work in grey tones, make thumbnails, and how to create orthographic views as well as a floor plan. Learn how to research images from different sources and adapt them to your own designs. Learn about attempting different perspectives, tones, sizes, and features without overthinking too much.

What project are we going to develop?

In this video course we'll create thumbnail sketches of a dwarf house, and then create a floor plan and orthographic views from it, as well as a cleaned up 3/4 drawing that will look great in your portfolio.

You'll will learn: How to research images for your prop design, how to get inspired by your image references and apply them to your own designs, the technique and process for creating different kinds of props and how to work with lines and tones on your prop designs.

Who’s this course for?

 This course is for intermediate-level Photoshop users that have a good knowledge of the tools and functions.

Her game experience also includes triple-A titles like Guild Wars 2 and mobile games like Afterland and Spooky Treats.
