About this course

On this course we're going to digitally paint a nose, lips and ears in Photoshop. This process is an essential illustration technique for detailed painting when doing portraits for any kind of medium ranging from fantasy illustration, to realistic video game and film art.

What project are we going to develop?

On this course you'll learn how to illustrate a realistic nose, lips and ears with a painterly feel in Adobe Photoshop.

Discover the techniques on how to paint these features realistically in photoshop using the dual brush tool, painting with shape dynamics and an angled brush, how to color pick the skin tones, as well the layering process whilst painting.
