About this course

Illustrations don’t have to be complicated, you can create amazing looking worlds with only shapes and paths in Illustrator. We'll take you through the process of designing a tasty sweet world from scratch. Using design principles, shapes, color, and texture you can create an illustration that shines.

What project are we going to develop?

In this course, we are going to design a final art based on a candy-themed world. It will be built within Illustrator using simple tools like the pen tool, gradients and shapes to help you. We will show you the process from vectorizing a sketch to complete art, even coloring it to suit your needs. The steps we take are simple and as you follow along or use your own concept you will find yourself enjoying the process.

Who’s this course for? Requirements

This course is for intermediate designers so if you’re new to Illustrator try watching videos on using basic tools before hand. We are going to show how to use Adobe Illustrator with basic knowledge required. We are using Creative cloud (CC) so if you have a previous version it may look a little different but the basic tools are still the same, so you shouldn't have any problems.
