About this course

On this course, you’ll learn the basic techniques of how to digitally paint a set of leaves and four different types of spring inspired trees, in Adobe Photoshop.

This process is a foundation technique to quickly conceptualize assets and props for television, film and video games, specifically in the Fantasy genre.

What project are we going to develop?

On this course, you’ll learn how to create leaves and tree silhouette shapes, using loose brush strokes, as well as using the Dual Brush tool, painting with Shape Dynamics, setting your Scatter Brush preferences, creating your own brushes, using an angled brush and also, the layering process for painting the trees.

Who’s this course for?

This course is for beginner level Photoshop users that have a basic knowledge of the tools and functions.

Requirements

  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Wacom Cintiq or any other drawing tablet
  • Pen Pressure sensitivity.

Hi!

Great tutorial, just thought I'd mention that this course is listed as an Adobe Illustrator course instead of Photoshop.

I really enjoyed all the lessons, but my favourite was the blue tree.
