About this course

Working with lettering and typography are essential skills you need to have as a graphic designer. I’ll show you how to create a vintage style logo using simple tools in Illustrator.

This course will show you how to create your own lettering from scratch using inspiration, sketches and transforming it into a vector in Illustrator.

What project are we going to develop?

On this course we’re going to create a logo with a vintage feel from scratch, to help you learn lettering and vector skills. Learn how to use the Pen tool, Composition, Shape and others. Using typographic layout and inspiration we’ll create our own custom logo.

Who’s this course for? Requirements

We’ll be using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop and some basic knowledge of these is required. I use Creative cloud (CC), so if you have a previous version it may look a little different but the basic tools are still the same, so you shouldn’t have any problems.
