About this course

Whenever we see a nice vector image we might wonder how it would look animated. And with After Effects it’s possible. On this course, we'll learn how to take a vector file from Illustrator and import it to After Effects in a way that it doesn’t lose the layers layout. I'll teach you some neat tricks like the Write On effect which is really nice, and you'll also learn how to use masks in After Effects. Besides, we'll improve any knowledge you may have on simple animation in After Effects. When you finish this course you'll be able to create great looking animations easily and with a better workflow.

What project are we going to develop?

We'll take a vector image of a New Year’s poster and import it to After Effects to animate it. We'll animate each and every object and the students will learn how to work properly between Illustrator and After Effects.

Who is this course for?

This course is for people who have used After Effects before. Not necessarily advanced or intermediate but people who know their way around the interface and the basics of the software.
