About this course

You will learn how to make up a quick concept art of whatever scene you want using composition rules, virtual weights, planes and image perspectives. We will apply what we learn to the drawing and we will use big blots to develop it.

What project we are going to develop?

We're going to create a quick concept art of a scene using what we've learnt in the lessons of composition and perspective.

In this class you will learn:

  • Looking for references.
  • Fundamental rules of composition and virtual weights.
  • Depth and planes.
  • Perspective.
  • Drawing a scene.

Who's this course for?

This course is for users that are completely new or have a basic understanding of Adobe Photoshop, that know how to use the basic brush tools and want to learn to draw a scene or a quick concept art. It's also useful if you wish to work with traditional techniques at home with pencil, paper, and colors.

  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Wacom Cintiq or any other graphic tablet
  • Pressure sensitivity
